Criminal Defense

While serving as a judge advocate (military lawyer) in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1983 to 1993, Mr. McBride served as defense counsel, senior defense counsel, and senior trial counsel (prosecuting attorney) at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in 29 Palms, CA, as senior trial counsel and senior defense counsel at Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, CA, and as senior defense counsel at Camp Pendleton, CA.  He also served a tour of duty as an administrative law attorney at the Pentagon.  In his military criminal law career, Mr. McBride handled everything from capital murder to absence without leave, to include espionage, manslaughter, rape, aggravated assault, maiming, child sexual abuse, drug distribution, robbery, burglary, and fraud, and also purely military offenses such as disobedience, disrespect, and desertion.  He tried over 400 cases at courts-martial, including nearly 100 contested jury trials.  

Mr. McBride is currently handing public defender referrals from the Kittitas County Superior Court while remaining available for criminal defense clients in private practice.
