Paul T. McBride is an attorney in Ellensburg, Washington. Paul has over 40 years of experience in civil litigation, construction law, business law, and criminal law. A 1981 graduate of Cornell Law School, Mr. McBride gained extensive trial experience while serving as a judge advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps for ten years between 1983 and 1993. As a military attorney, he tried criminal cases at courts-martial, including a high profile death penalty case and two espionage cases. After leaving active duty Paul remained in the Marine Corps Reserve for 18 years, retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel in 2011. While in the Reserves, he was called to active duty for two one-year periods in 2003 and 2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

 

Following his active-duty Marine Corps career, Mr. McBride practiced civil litigation in California and Nevada as a partner at Kring & Chung LLP, with an emphasis on complex construction litigation and business litigation. For ten years, he served as the managing partner of Kring & Chung's Sacramento office. He currently serves as general counsel for several Northern California-based construction companies.

Paul opened his own practice in Ellensburg, Washington, in 2018 while retaining “in counsel” status with his California law firm. He is admitted to practice law in California and Washington. His fields of practice include general civil litigation, criminal defense, construction law, and contracts.
