Mr. McBride has practiced civil litigation for 25 years, specializing in personal injury and construction defect defense work.  He has also handled breach of contract, fraud, and real estate disputes.  Among his recent matters handled are:
  • A traumatic brain injury case in which Mr. McBride represented the general contractor for the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas and which resulted in a $28 million settlement funded by several layers of insurance.
  • A construction defect lawsuit involving a large Northern California casino hotel in which Mr. McBride represented the window and caulking subcontractors, and which resulted in a $25 million settlement funded by several layers of insurance.
  • A wrongful death case in Las Vegas involving a woman struck and killed by a city bus.  As defense counsel, Mr. McBride negotiated a $2.9 million settlement funded by the bus company's insurance carrier.
  • A construction defect lawsuit involving the Lido Casino and Resort in Las Vegas in which Mr. McBride represented the general contractor who built the complex and in which he negotiated a $2.9 million settlement funded by two layers of insurance.
  • A construction defect jury trial in Phoenix, Arizona in which Mr. McBride represented the stucco subcontractor for a 110-unit complex and which resulted in a defense verdict in favor of Mr. McBride's client.
